NEW SEMESTER BEGINS

The start of the new semester kicks off on September 8th!


2010 OUTSTANDING APPRENTICESHIP COMPETETION
Seattle, Washington

The International Outstanding Apprentice Competition will be held in
Seattle Washington beginning September 18th. We would like to wish
our own two competitors, Andrew Byerly and Mikhail An, GOOD LUCK!
(As well as all of the other participants)


NEW TRAINING CLASSES OFFERED:

We are pleased to announce that we now offer First Aid/CPR Training
for all of our members and Signatory Contractors.
We do require a minimum of 10 persons in order to hold a class.
If you are interested or for further information on date availability,
please call the Apprenticeship school at 301-599-0940.

1) Our apprenticeship classes will now qualify you for college credits and for an Associate's Degree.

2) Our Welding Facility is now Certified and in full operation!

3) We will soon be offering Journeyman Upgrades on a large scale

a. Stuctural Steel
b. Miscellaneious Iron
c. Caulking/Glazing
d. Finishing
e. Doors
f. OSHA 10 & 30
g. Subpart "R"
h. Forklift
i. Scoffold User & Erector
j. Flagger (you must now be certified to flag traffic)
k. Foreman Training
l. Welding: Stick & Intershield

  

Should you wish to take any of these courses, you will need to call the school at 301-599-0940
or you can email the director on the contact page to be placed on the list of your choice. Most
classes will be held one or two Saturdays each month.
